About us
Our motto of ‘Achieve our best, Be our best, Celebrate our best’ is felt in everything we do at Longford. Children have a love of learning, and strive to achieve their best every day, across the varied curriculum.
Our school values guide us in our behaviours and attitudes, and provide us with a strong moral code, which is palpable as you step through the door. These values are present in assemblies, classrooms, the playground and as you walk through the corridors.
Longford Park Primary Academy celebrates diversity, and we strive to cater for all learning needs, academic or otherwise. Every single child will have the opportunity to represent the school in some capacity across the school year, no matter their particular skill or talent.
We boast a strong, experienced teaching team, with skills and expertise across all key stages and many areas of the curriculum.
Teachers support one another and work as a team to share good practice. As a 1 form entry school, there is a close-knit ‘family feel’, between the wider community and school, and within the school also.
A consistent staff presence in the playground and at the classroom doors, mean that we are well-connected to the parent community.
Our Parent Advisory Group support the development of the school, and an active Friends Of LPPA group maintain an active social and fundraising calendar, in order to further develop this growing school.
